Scottie Scheffler, Jon Rahm, Nelly Korda and Eugenio Chacarra have each led their respective tours' 2026 money lists, but how much that leadership is worth varies enormously by tour.

How much have the four tour leaders earned?

TourLeaderEarningsEvents playedWins
PGA TourScottie Scheffler~$31 million (plus ~$33 million FedExCup bonus)203
LIV GolfJon Rahm~$26 million19 (12 LIV, 4 majors, 3 DP World Tour)2 (plus season title)
LPGA TourNelly Korda$6 million-plus154 (2 majors)
DP World TourEugenio Chacarrajust over $3 million~28 (up to 30 with Play-offs)3

Why is the gap between tours so wide?

Scheffler and Chacarra have each won three times this year, but Scheffler's PGA Tour earnings work out to roughly $1.55 million per start, against about $110,000 per start for Chacarra on the DP World Tour, where he is protecting a 669-point Race to Dubai lead over the season's final two events. Scheffler has already clinched the FedExCup and, per the source reporting, has surpassed Tiger Woods' all-time PGA Tour career money record. The disparity helps explain why DP World Tour players consistently push to earn PGA Tour status, which significantly raises their earning ceiling.

How did Rahm and Korda compare?

Rahm closed out his final LIV Golf season with roughly $26 million, including a reported $6 million for sealing a third consecutive individual season title, despite playing only 19 times across LIV, the majors and DP World Tour starts. For scale, runner-up Michael La Sasso earned $3.24 million on LIV, more than Chacarra's full-season DP World Tour total. Korda, playing just 15 events, banked more than $6 million behind four wins, including $3.85 million from two major titles, but the LPGA's comparatively smaller purses mean her returns still trail the men's tours by a wide margin.

Three wins apiece for Scheffler and Chacarra produced wildly different paychecks, a gap that keeps pulling DP World Tour players toward the PGA Tour.

Chacarra, who left LIV Golf in 2024, has said the money was never the draw of returning to mainstream tours. "On LIV, there is only money," he said, pointing instead to major and Ryder Cup eligibility.
