The Singapore Open, now presented by Deutsche Bank, and the Hong Kong Open will both be co-sanctioned with the Asian Tour, marking a realignment after LIV Golf had staged events in both markets in recent years. What's missing from the new calendar?

Several events are gone or unconfirmed. The Hero Indian Open is off the schedule entirely, and the Danish Golf Championship, Austrian Alpine Open and Nexo Championship in Scotland are also missing. The tour lists "TBC" slots in the Asian Swing in March, in August, and in late October just before the season-ending playoffs, a spot previously held by the Genesis Championship in South Korea.

Why is the Irish Open move significant?

The Irish Open shifts from its recent September date back to the first week of July, forming a three-week stretch with the Scottish Open and the Open Championship. The 2027 Irish Open will be played at the parkland K Club in County Kildare rather than a links course. Unlike the Scottish Open, the Irish Open is not co-sanctioned with the PGA Tour, which could affect how top players, including past champions Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry, structure their summer schedules.

How does the schedule line up around the Ryder Cup?

The PGA Tour's Tour Championship runs Aug. 26-29, and no PGA Tour events follow in the two weeks after. The DP World Tour fills that window with the Omega European Masters in Switzerland and the FedEx Open de France, both ahead of the Ryder Cup. The week after the Ryder Cup, the DP World Tour's flagship BMW PGA Championship will be held at Wentworth in England, a short flight from the Ryder Cup venue.
