Key takeaways
- Only the top 100 players in the Race to Dubai rankings keep full 2027 DP World Tour status, down from 115 in 2025.
- Sebastian Soderberg enters the Genesis Championship 101st, just 0.75 points outside the cutoff.
- The top 70 after this week advance to the Abu Dhabi Aldar Championship, the first Play-Offs event.
- 5,000 Race to Dubai points are available this week, with 835 going to the winner.
- Matteo Manassero sits 98th, only 13.53 points inside the cutoff, as his 2024 title exemption expires.
The DP World Tour's Genesis Championship in South Korea is the final regular-season event before the Play-Offs, and for dozens of players, it is also the last chance to secure full 2027 playing status after the tour cut the number of fully exempt cards from 115 to 100.
Which players need points to reach the top 100?
Sweden's Sebastian Soderberg arrives 101st, trailing the cutoff by just 0.75 points. American Sean Crocker sits 103rd, 10.69 points back. Yuto Katsuragawa, who earned his maiden DP World Tour title at the 2024 ISPS Handa Championship, is 106th and less than 48 points outside the top 100 as that exemption nears its end. Four-time winner Kiradech Aphibarnrat is 108th, more than 50 points behind, with Brandon Robinson Thompson (109th) and Andreas Halvorsen (110th) also chasing the line. Jason Scrivener (112th) trails by more than 84 points, while Zander Lombard, who earned his card at Q School a year ago, sits 113th. Jens Dantorp (117th) and Euan Walker (121st) round out the group still within range.
Who inside the cutoff is at risk?
Five-time winner Matteo Manassero holds 98th, just 13.53 points clear of the line, with the exemption from his 2024 Jonsson Workwear Open win set to expire at season's end. David Law sits one spot above him in 97th, and 2024 D+D Real Czech Masters champion David Ravetto is 95th. Eddie Pepperell, who earned his 2026 card through Q School, is 99th but isn't in this week's field; just 9.35 points separate him from falling out of the top 100.
| Player | Rank entering week | Points from cutoff |
|---|---|---|
| David Ravetto | 95th | inside |
| David Law | 97th | inside |

| Sean Crocker | 103rd | -10.69 |
| Yuto Katsuragawa | 106th | under -48 |

A handful of points this week will decide which players keep full tour cards for 2027 and which head back to qualifying.
The Genesis Championship also sets the field for the Play-Offs: the top 70 in the Race to Dubai rankings after this week advance to the Abu Dhabi Aldar Championship, the first of the season-ending events.
