Five LIV Golfers Join Strong Omega European Masters Field

Five LIV Golfers headline a deep field at this week's Omega European Masters, one of the DP World Tour's longest-running events, as the circuit's fall "Back Nine" schedule continues at Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club in Switzerland.

Who leads the DP World Tour field?

Ryan Gerard, who finished third in the final FedExCup standings, joins Race to Dubai leader Patrick Reed, No. 3 Eugenio Chacarra and No. 4 Casey Jarvis among the tournament favorites. Dual-status players in the field include Marco Penge, Harry Hall, the Hojgaard twins, Keita Nakajima and 2024 champion Matt Wallace.

Which LIV Golfers are entered?

Adrian Meronk, a four-time DP World Tour winner, is making his sixth start of the season after a T15 finish at last week's British Masters. David Puig, who won the Australian PGA Championship in November, makes his first start since LIV Golf's season ended. Sergio Garcia takes a sponsor invite for his first Crans-sur-Sierre appearance since 2019, a course where he won in 2005, and he will also play next week's Irish Open. A field built from three different tours is a rare sight on the DP World Tour's fall schedule.

Detry recorded seven top-10 finishes in 12 LIV Golf League events this year, highlighted by his runner-up finish in Hong Kong. The five LIV entries follow three of the league's players teeing it up at last week's British Masters, where Joe Dean won his maiden title.
