Chad Coleman, the LPGA's chief marketing officer, has stepped down from the role less than eight months after joining the tour, the organization confirmed this week.

Coleman joined the LPGA in late January 2026 after serving as chief brand officer at Dude Perfect. Staff were informed of his departure on Monday. An LPGA spokesperson said Coleman decided to “step down from his role with the LPGA to be present with his family.”

Who is replacing Coleman?

The LPGA will not fill the chief marketing officer position. Instead, Taylor Strick, formerly global head of partnerships at Aon, has been hired as senior vice president of marketing and will oversee the tour's social media team. Strick and vice president of communications J.D. Sterba will both report directly to commissioner Craig Kessler.

What other LPGA leadership changes were announced?

Lindsay Allen has also stepped down as executive director of the 2028 Solheim Cup to spend more time with her family, though she will remain with the LPGA through the end of the year. Allen ran the 2024 Solheim Cup at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club, an event marked by transportation problems for fans.

Ryan Ogle will take over as executive director of the 2028 Solheim Cup, which is scheduled for Valhalla Golf Club. Ogle previously worked as a championship director for the PGA Championship, including the 2024 edition at Valhalla, before resigning from the PGA of America to take a sales and services role at Churchill Downs Racetrack.
