- The U.S. has won 10 straight Presidents Cups and leads the all-time series 13-1-1.
- Christiaan Bezuidenhout was picked from 96th in the world ranking, outside the International team's top 15 in points.

The 24 players who will contest the 2026 Presidents Cup at Medinah Country Club are set. U.S. captain Brandt Snedeker and International captain Geoff Ogilvy each filled six automatic qualifying spots and made six captain's picks apiece to complete their rosters ahead of the Sept. 24-27 matches in Chicago.
Who qualified automatically for each team?
Scottie Scheffler, Cameron Young, Wyndham Clark, Sam Burns, Russell Henley and Collin Morikawa earned their spots on points for the U.S. team. Si Woo Kim, Ryan Fox, Hideki Matsuyama, Min Woo Lee, Tom Kim and Adam Scott qualified automatically for the International side, which is looking for its first win since 1998.
Fox arrives off his first major title, a British Open win at Royal Birkdale that made him the second New Zealander to win the Claret Jug and the first Kiwi to play a Presidents Cup since 2015. Tom Kim, 24, won the Genesis Scottish Open for his fourth Tour title and will make his third Presidents Cup start.
Who got the captain's picks?
Snedeker's six picks were Chris Gotterup, Xander Schauffele, Justin Thomas, Jacob Bridgeman, Patrick Cantlay and Jackson Koivun. Koivun, 21, is the first player 21 or younger to make a U.S. Presidents Cup team since Jordan Spieth in 2013; he won the 3M Open in just his third start as a professional. Gotterup, who missed the automatic cutoff at No. 7, had three regular-season wins, tied for the most on Tour. Bridgeman won the Genesis Invitational and the Biltmore Championship Asheville this year and led the PGA Tour in strokes gained putting.
Ogilvy's picks were Corey Conners, Nico Echavarria, Sungjae Im, Ryo Hisatsune, Nick Taylor and Christiaan Bezuidenhout. Taylor, a five-time PGA Tour winner, will make his first Presidents Cup appearance. Bezuidenhout was selected from outside the top 15 in the International standings, at 96th in the world ranking.
A captain who reaches outside the automatic six is betting on form over resume, and both sides did it this year.
How has the Presidents Cup gone historically?
The U.S. has won 10 straight Presidents Cups and holds an all-time record of 13-1-1 since the event began in 1994. The last International win came in 1998. Two years ago at Royal Montreal, the U.S. won 18.5-11.5 despite the International team tying the score at 5-5 after two days.
"You've got to trust your gut," Snedeker said of the decision to add Koivun over more experienced options.
