RE/MAX Opens First Golf Community Office at Juniper Preserve

RE/MAX Golf Lifestyles opened its first on-site real estate office on Aug. 10 at Juniper Preserve Golf & Wellness Resort outside Bend, Oregon, placing agents who specialize in golf communities directly inside the resort. The office is operated by RE/MAX Key Properties, about four months after the RE/MAX Golf Lifestyles program launched.

What is RE/MAX Golf Lifestyles?

The program trains RE/MAX agents in the specifics of golf community real estate, including course operations and club membership structures. More than 200 agents have completed its certification so far, and the company expects Juniper Preserve to be the first of several independently owned and operated offices placed inside golf communities.

Golf real estate is becoming its own specialty, with agents based inside the gates rather than down the road.

"When Golf Life Navigators joined RE/MAX earlier this year, we saw a tremendous opportunity to help consumers navigate the expanding golf lifestyle market with the expertise it deserves," said Jason Becker, RE/MAX vice president of lifestyles and co-founder of Golf Life Navigators.

Why Juniper Preserve?

Juniper Preserve sits within a 1,000-year-old juniper forest in Central Oregon and offers residents two courses: the Jack Nicklaus Signature Course and the private Tom Fazio Championship Course, along with hiking, biking, skiing and river access. The community was also chosen as the launch site for Golf Real Estate with RE/MAX, a digital platform the company built with Golfweek that combines property search tools and community guides with editorial coverage of golf destinations.

What comes next?

RE/MAX said the Juniper Preserve office is the first step in a broader rollout of golf-focused offices across its network, aimed at buyers and sellers who are searching for a golf lifestyle rather than just a house.
