Zero Restriction has introduced the Conquistador, a new rain jacket that replaces the brand's Conqueror model heading into the autumn and winter golf season.

What changed from the Conqueror?

The main update is the zipper. The Conqueror used a half-zip front, while the Conquistador switches to a full-zip design that is easier to put on and take off. The jacket launches in two colorways, Blue Indigo and Racing Green, with more colors expected to follow.

What waterproofing features does it have?

The Conquistador is built with seam-sealed construction, waterproof zippers and multi-layer fabric. Its hood has a shapeable, memory-wire brim, and the cuffs, hem and hood can all be adjusted using drawcords and tab closures. The fabric includes some stretch for mobility during the swing, and reviewers described the jacket as comfortable enough to move freely in without feeling restricted.

Reviewers found that water ran off the fabric without leaking through during testing, and rated the jacket versatile enough to wear away from the course as well as on it. The outgoing Conqueror had drawn strong marks from reviewers for its performance, and the Conquistador is being positioned as a refinement of that design rather than a departure from it.

How much does the Conquistador cost?

Zero Restriction has positioned the Conquistador at the premium end of the rain jacket market, in line with the rest of the brand's outerwear lineup. It is available now in Blue Indigo and Racing Green.
