Two Tom Fazio courses opened in 1984 in the Santa Catalina foothills north of Tucson. The Mountain plays 6,898 yards to a par of 72 and is known for its third, a 107-yard par 3 across desert to a green ringed by boulders. The Canyon runs 6,836 yards through Esperro Canyon past the formation known as Whaleback Rock. The club is semi-private and the two courses alternate between member and resort play, so which one is open to visitors depends on the day.
