Defending national champion Auburn is No. 1 in the second 2026-27 Bushnell/Golfweek Division I men's college golf coaches poll, released Friday, edging Oklahoma State by two points.
How close was the top of the poll?
Auburn received eight first-place votes for 614 points, while Oklahoma State collected 12 first-place votes but finished two points behind at 612. Arizona State, Illinois and Texas Tech rounded out the top five. Previous No. 1 Florida, which received one first-place vote, dropped to sixth, ahead of Tennessee, Texas, Georgia Tech and Vanderbilt in the rest of the top 10. Florida State, Charlotte, Ole Miss and Arizona all dropped out of the rankings entirely.

Ole Miss (67 points), Kansas (66) and Virginia (64) lead the group of teams receiving votes just outside the ranked field, followed by Duke, Toledo and the four programs that fell out of the poll this week.

Hutchinson leads the NJCAA Division I poll for a second straight week, and Kirkwood is No. 1 in NJCAA Division II after sweeping all seven first-place votes.
A 12-vote plurality for Oklahoma State still wasn't enough to unseat the defending champion.
