New Mexico senior Johnnie Clark has won all three college golf tournaments he has entered this season, each in a different country, becoming the first Division I men's player to open a season with three straight stroke-play titles since Oklahoma State's Matthew Wolff in 2018-19.

How did Clark win at the Tucker Invitational?

Clark shared medalist honors with San Diego State's Brayden Forte at the William H. Tucker Invitational on Saturday, New Mexico's home event at the UNM Championship Course in Albuquerque. The pair finished tied at 13 under after 54 holes and birdied both playoff holes before travel schedules forced an early end to the day, leaving them as co-champions. New Mexico finished second as a team behind San Diego State.

Clark opened his season with a win at the Pan Pacific University Golf Super League in Japan, then took the Canadian Collegiate Invitational before returning home for the Tucker title. He is the first Lobo to win three straight tournaments in program history and has shot in the 60s in eight of his nine rounds this fall. Dating back to last season, he has won four of his last six collegiate starts, a run that began with his first career title at the ASU Thunderbird Collegiate in April.
