CPKC Women's Open 2026 purse holds at a record $2.75 million

The CPKC Women's Open is playing for $2.75 million this week at Royal Mayfair Golf Club in Edmonton, the same total the LPGA Tour event carried in 2025, when it set a tournament record.

The winner takes $412,500 — an exact match for what Brooke Henderson banked a year ago — along with 500 Race to the CME Globe points. Whoever finishes second on their own receives $259,395. Those figures are before ties are settled, which redistributes money across shared positions.

Miyu Yamashita took the tournament apart over the first three rounds, reaching 19 under par and finishing Saturday six strokes clear of Gina Kim and Yuri Yoshida. Henderson, the defending champion, began the final round tied for 15th at 7 under, too far back to defend without help.

Henderson's 2025 win here was her 14th LPGA Tour title and came by a single shot over Minjee Lee, in front of a Canadian gallery that had waited a long time to see it. The 2026 edition moved to Edmonton, giving Alberta the national championship.
