The 2026 Genesis Championship, the final regular-season event of the DP World Tour, will pay its winner $680,000 from a total purse of $4 million at Woo Jeong Hills Country Club in South Korea.
The runner-up will take home $440,000 if the tournament finishes with a clear leader. The purse has held steady at $4 million since 2024, and this year's event carries extra weight: results determine who advances to the DP World Tour Playoffs and who keeps full status for 2027.
Why does this week's result matter beyond the prize money?
The top 70 players in the DP World Tour's season-long rankings move on to the Playoffs in the Middle East in the coming weeks. Finishing inside the top 100 guarantees a return to the tour in 2027; finishing 101st or worse means starting over through qualifying.
How much do players in the top eight earn?
Golfers finishing in the top eight are in line for a six-figure payday along with Race to Dubai points that count toward the Playoffs seedings. Any player who makes the 36-hole cut, set at 70 players, is guaranteed more than $7,000.
| Finish | Payout |
|---|---|
| Winner | $680,000 |
| Runner-up | $440,000 |
| Top 8 (approx.) | Six figures+ |
| Made cut (minimum) | $7,000+ |
