SuperStroke has released the REVL Element 4X, a full-swing grip priced at $9.99 that builds an enlarged lower section into its design to replicate the feel of four extra wraps of tape.
What makes the REVL Element 4X different?
The grip uses a reduced taper similar to SuperStroke's putter grips, so it narrows less toward the bottom than a conventional full-swing grip. SuperStroke says the wider lower section is built to help golfers apply more even pressure with both hands, giving the lower hand less room to over-grip during the swing and helping keep the clubface stable through impact.
What materials does it use?
The upper section combines SuperStroke's ACE material with cord for a firmer, tackier feel and more traction in wet conditions. The lower section uses the brand's softer Genesis+ material, pairing a firmer top hand with a softer, wider bottom hand.
| Size | Length | Weight |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | 10.7 in | 62.5g |
| Mid Size | 10.7 in | — |
| Jumbo | 10.7 in | 81g |
Who is the grip designed for?
SuperStroke is pitching the Element 4X at golfers who tend to grip too tightly with their lower hand, or who have previously wrapped extra tape beneath that hand to change a grip's feel. The design builds that modification into the grip itself rather than requiring aftermarket wrapping.
