Where does the Lumo design come from?

The single-bend, center-of-gravity-balanced shaft placement was acquired from Finnish putter specialist Otso Golf, which Takomo bought in 2025; Otso CEO Miikka Farin joined Takomo as part of the deal. Both putters are milled from 303 stainless steel with mid-depth grooves for feel and roll, in satin steel or DLC black finishes matching the rest of Takomo's lineup.

Neither model moves into oversized territory - even the M1 mallet stays mid-sized - keeping both approachable while still adding the stability of the low-torque shaft placement. The B1 carries that same shaft technology into a wide-body blade aimed at traditionalists.
