ESPN opens live coverage of the Tour Championship's first round at 11 a.m. ET on Thursday, with Golf Channel taking over at 1 p.m. ET for the rest of the day at East Lake Golf Club.

Scottie Scheffler has won four majors and 21 PGA Tour titles over the past five seasons, two of them this year, and that run earned him the top FedEx Cup regular-season bonus of $23 million last Sunday. Despite his run atop the world ranking, Scheffler has won the FedEx Cup outright only once, in 2024. This week he can add a second title and the $10 million winner's check that comes with it. All 30 players in the field start Thursday at even par, and the lowest four-round total wins.
