WTGL sets Nov. 8 launch with ESPN, ION broadcast deal

WTGL, the women's counterpart to TMRW Sports' indoor simulator league TGL, will launch its inaugural season on Sunday, Nov. 8, under new multi-year media rights agreements with ESPN and Scripps Sports/ION.
Where will WTGL air?
Matches and shoulder programming will appear across ABC, ESPN and ESPN2. The league will also air on ION, which reaches 128 million homes nationally and already carries the WNBA, NWSL and PWHL, putting WTGL alongside a lineup of women's sports the network already promotes.
ESPN has broadcast the men's TGL, the simulator-golf league WTGL is modeled after, since its 2024-25 debut season, extending that partnership to the new women's league. The full match schedule, on-air talent and production details have not yet been announced.
The Nov. 8 opener coincides with the final round of the LPGA's TOTO Japan Classic. The rights deal was announced two days after WTGL revealed the rosters for its five teams.
