How does the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship work?
The pro-am plays its first three rounds across St Andrews, Carnoustie and Kingsbarns. A 54-hole cut advances the top 60 pros and top 20 pro-am teams to a final round at St Andrews, where the lowest 72-hole score wins. The team event is better-ball, with amateurs playing off two-thirds of their handicap.
Who is in the field?
Tyrrell Hatton is chasing a fourth Dunhill Links title after winning in 2016, 2017 and 2024. Robert MacIntyre defends as champion, and Matt Fitzpatrick enters off a win at the Open de France the week before. Major champions Bubba Watson, Brooks Koepka, Cameron Smith, Danny Willett and Justin Rose round out the field.
