Why did Spaun go back to the L.A.B. DF3?
Spaun used the DF3 through his Valero Texas Open win and Oakmont title defense last season before experimenting with other putters starting in May, including a custom Scotty Cameron Phantom 9.5 through much of the summer. He went back to the DF3 at the BMW Championship in St. Louis and kept it in the bag through his Wentworth win.
