TaylorMade's Tiger Woods MG4 Wedge Drops to $119.99 for Black Friday

TaylorMade's MG4 wedge, built to Tiger Woods' personal specifications, is discounted to $119.99 from its usual $199.99 at Carl's Golfland, a 40% early Black Friday 2026 markdown.

What makes the MG4 different?

Woods was directly involved in the MG4's development. He provided feedback on spin loss caused by morning dew and wet rough, which helped validate TaylorMade's laser-etched Spin Tread technology: channels between the grooves designed to funnel moisture away at impact and maintain spin. The wedge also uses an untreated Raw Face and raised micro-ribs aimed at consistent launch and stopping power in a range of turf conditions.

Woods also pushed for the sole to be fully CNC-machined rather than hand-ground, a method intended to eliminate the build-to-build variance that comes with hand-finishing and replicate his own turf-interaction geometry. The wedge ships with a True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue 115 shaft and a Lamkin Crossline 360 grip.

Which lofts are on sale?

Carl's Golfland has both MG4 loft options discounted: a 56-degree version with a dual-sole design and heavy heel relief, which Woods specified for standard pitch shots and opening the face out of varied sand conditions, and a 60-degree version with a high bounce leading edge and a shaved trailing heel, built for high flop shots without the leading edge lifting off tight fairway lies.

Woods was involved throughout the MG4's development, from spin testing in wet conditions to the CNC-machined sole.
