Wildhorse won't hand out LPGA cards, but 500 points are on the line

A win at this week's Wildhorse Ladies Golf Classic does not put anyone on the LPGA Tour. It does hand the champion 500 Race for the Card points, which in the middle of the Epson Tour standings is close to a season's work in three days.

How does the Race for the Card actually work?

Cards are allocated on cumulative season performance, not on any single result, and the top 15 at year's end receive fully exempt LPGA Tour cards for 2027. What is the Wildhorse Ladies Golf Classic?

It is a 54-hole individual stroke play event played Friday through Sunday in eastern Oregon, hosted by Wildhorse Resort & Casino, an enterprise owned and operated by the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation. The tournament joined the Epson Tour calendar in 2022 and has held its $250,000 purse through a period of schedule changes on the developmental tour.

Erika Hara won the 2025 edition at 18 under par, three clear of Sabrina Iqbal, for her first professional victory on American soil.

What it means for golfers

This is one of the cheapest tickets in professional golf. A day at the gate costs $5, a three-day pass is $12, and children under 15 get in free with an adult ticket holder. For anyone in eastern Oregon, that is a weekend of watching players who will be on LPGA broadcasts inside two years.
