Wyndham Clark won the BMW Championship at Bellerive Country Club with the same putter he's carried through all three of his victories this season: a Ping Scottsdale TEC Ally Blue Onset CB. He ranked sixth in the field in strokes gained putting for the week and averaged nearly 100 feet of putts made per round.

What is Wyndham Clark's putter deal with Ping?

Clark signed a putter-only endorsement contract with Ping the week before his U.S. Open win in June, extending an arrangement that began when he switched to the Scottsdale TEC that spring. Ping said it was the company's first putter-only deal with a tour player in more than 50 years of sponsoring pros.

Clark entered 2026 as a free agent in equipment after his Titleist contract expired at the end of 2025. He rotated through putters for the season's first two months before settling on the Scottsdale TEC in March at the Texas Children's Houston Open, then moved to a heavier, counterbalanced version of the same putter at the RBC Heritage in April. The head, wrapped in layers of lead tape on the sole, has not changed since.

What changed in Clark's driver setup?

Clark's putter has stayed constant, but he dropped to an 8.0-degree head on his TaylorMade Qi4D driver for the BMW. That means he's now won with three different lofted versions of the Qi4D this season. The driver has also been used to win two men's majors, four of the five women's majors, and the first two legs of the FedEx Cup Playoffs, including Scottie Scheffler's win in his first start with the club last week.
